did anyone buy thier headpiece from tri-county?

i went to tri-county yesterday looking for a tiara, and i found one i liked, but i wasn't sure if i wanted to buy it from a flea market. I found it at a place called S&S. I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with them....

thanks!

Did anyone find flower girl dresses in Tri-County? If so, are there alot of places to look in Tri-County? Thanks!

Thanks, I didn't want to drive all the way in there and only find 1 booth with them. I went to the flea market in Bohemia on Sunrise Highway and they only had 2 places and didn't have a big selection.

I know they had one or two places but don't think more than that

I know 2 people who bought thier headpieces and veils from there, and I am probably going to get mine from there. They looked awesome, you would never have known if they got it from there or from a bridal shop.

I got my headpiece, veil and blusher from there. But not from S&S.

I got my tiarra from Tri-County and it was great and cheap (around $40). I originally found something at Bridal Reflections where I bought my dress but it was $600 and you couldn't tell the difference. I actually have my tiarra on my dresser and it still looks great a year later!

the tiara and veil i tried on at Bridal Couture of Manhasset where I tried my dress on was $800 - and that was with the discount! So I was looking for something a little more in my price range. I think I'm going to Floral Fanyasyland in Patchogue next to see what they have there.

If you go to Tri County, find the European lady (sometimes her son is there), she is the best. SHe will measure the veil to fit you, if you want to make it more or less puffy, she can add rhinestones, whatever you want. I like that better than the one size fits all. If you find something you like at the bridal shop, you can always find a pic of it in a magazine and have her make it for you.

The booth with the largest selection at Tri-County is called Barron's Bridal Outlet, 516-476-1222. I was amazed at the selection of tiaras & other headpieces & they will also custom make one for you. They'll make your veil however you want. They're located at the front right near the Hempstead Turnpike entrance. The other booth is S&S Fashions, 516-735-7665 & it's further inside the market. They also were very nice but their selection wasn't neaarly as laarge as Barron's. Both places had GREAT prices. We haven't purchased from them yet but both vendors hve been there for years, so they tell me.

I think I got mine at Baron's bridals. Very nice, very cheap and the customer service people were friendly and accomodating. The headpiece stood up nicely (no loss of beads, etc.) unlike my dress, but that's a whole other story in itself. I would highly recommend them.

There's nothing different between their headpieces and the high end bridal salons except the 'quality' of the crystals which who really cares -you're wearing it one day (and you're not turning it into a cocktail ring or something) and the price. A veil is a veil no matter how you slice it, beads are beads. The only difference I can see is a few hundred bucks, which hey it works better in my pocket than theirs. I think mine was about $35.00
