I know us woman are emotional creatures.. but did you celebrate on your 1 yr being engaged? We went out to dinner i got FH a nice sentimental card and he was upset with me bc he didn't think we were exchanging bc we already have our anniversary- which is valentines day. I did not expect a gift at all - it was nice that we got to go on his dads boat and then go out to eat. He is telling me how many anniversarys do u want to have?LOL
I guess guys are different...

Haha aww. He probably just felt bad you got him a card and he didn't. Like you said, boys are totally different than us girls with those kind of things.
Our 1 year engagement anniversary will be a month before our actual wedding, so I highly doubt we will do anything. Might make him take me out to dinner.

We didn't exchange cards or anything but we spent the day at the Nautical Mile and went to a nice dinner.
Actually, at 11:00 that morning he said something about me make him the happiest man exactly a year ago - he proposed at breakfast - so that was cute!

it was last saturday. He got me BEAUtiful flowers and a card. Sadly, the flowers aren't doing well becuase it was 90 degrees in our house!!

This sunday is our anniversary! I think we're going to dinner or something but I don't expect a gift or anything, we are splurging by going to dinner anyways...saving is so fun haha

yeah im not upset at all just wondering what other people did on there year engagement. We are paying for most of the wedding ourselves. He said he felt stupid bc he didn't get me a card. He wasn't feeling so great that day anyways bc he got sunburned so him going out to dinner was nice of him since he was not feeling good.

we will be married on our 1 year engagement anniversary, but will probably celebrate it because it's also the first day we met and our 2 year dating anniversary...soo Dec 6 will always be a special day for us!

Ours is next monday! I will actually be picking up my mom and going to try on dresses that day!! But FH wants to do something to celebrate next Sat. He wants to make me a nice dinner and we will finally drink a bottle of wine his brother got us as an engagement present! I wanted to celebrate what I kept calling our 'preanniversary', so I *made* him a card and I was hoping to get flowers or something since I had reminded him so much, but I got nothing.
