Did anyone change their date again, once they were booked at a hall? My wedding is on May 29th, 2006, Monday. Its on memorial day. I am having conflicts in my head over this.

YEP! I did!! My original wedding date was 4/30/2005 and I already had my hall booked, my church booked, and my photo/video booked when I decided to change my date!
In October of 2003, we decided we want to move the wedding up and looked around at other halls and negotiated with ours as well. We would have lost our deposit at our reception site so it was in our best interests to re-book with them. We got a great deal for a date that someone else had cancelled on and it worked out perfectly with our Photo/video and church. I moved up my wedding by 7 months and I was so glad I did! Right now I would still have almost 5 mos to go!
