I'm thinking of getting my bangs cut, I noticed since last year, bangs are back in. Once again, I love Jennifer Aniston's hair style, but I can't find a picture to show my hair dresser. Of course, it won't look quite the same on me and I need a low maintenence style, so not sure if a new style will work. I haven't had bangs in 10 years or so. Anyone have pics to share??

I don't have pics, but I cut my bangs last month. I love them!! I always hated having my hair in my face and without bangs I ended up wearing my hair back all the time. I don't mind the bangs and I can pretty much let the rest of my hair air dry.

I keep toying with the idea of getting bangs, but I know once I get them they'll be out of style, and that will piss me off because it took me years to grow them out in the first place. It would be just my luck.

I just cut them a week ago!1 I grew them out and decided I didn't like myself with out bangs so I got them cut and she cut them that I can either wear them down or push them to the side.

I've been thinking of getting bangs too.
I'm just afraid this gives Damien ammunition to pull my hair more
Plus I always put it up out of my face and then I would have it hanging in my face and that may annoy me

I cut my bangs a few months ago, and I'm really happy with them!
They are 'longer' bangs that I sort of push to the side, and they took a little getting used to.. but everyone I know and TRUST have told me they like them and that I look years younger.. heck, I cannot complain about that!!
Hair grows pretty fast, so I say go for it!

They both look hot and I love both looks. I always feel silly bringing a pic of a celebrity to the salon although I do feel like saying, make me look like her! I think I will do the longer bangs, so that they will take less time to grow out if I don't like it.

Do you have to blow-dry those bangs or will they just fall in place - does anyone know?

I banged myself (heheh) in november.
It started off as longish bangs now they are pretty short but on a side part.
Only thing is now I have to blow out my hair they look like crap if I air dry my hair.

I definitely have to blow dry my bangs, or else they just do not 'sit right' (and look stupid) But I have to blow dry my hair anyhow, so this didn't really affect me
If you aren't used to bangs, though, maybe its better to wait until after the wedding. I debated this myself but after going to my trial I was happy with the way my hair looked with side-swept bangs.

Niha, I bring pics all the time of a celebrity cut that I want and I never feel embarassed. Actually my hairdresser loves when I bring a pic so she can see what I am talking about.

I am thinking about getting bangs. But the Jennifer Aniston bangs shown above look like they would be hard to create everyday. At least if you don't like them, you just put them to the side. I want to go to an excellent hairdresser if I do this because I want them to do it in a style that would look good with my face shape. I have a longish nose, so I feel like bangs accentuates that.
it took me forever to grow them out, dont think I will cut them anytime soon

I am cutting my hair on Saturday (just a trim) and am seriously considering cutting long ones - to the side. I could never do regular bangs (although I tried when I was younger) because I have too many crazy cowlicks (sp?) in my hair. I will ask whoever cuts my hair what they think and let them decide for me.
