Did anyone do Black Friday shopping?

Well, didja?

I went to Staples with FH late in the day - like, 4 p.m. - and there was no one in there! We scored on an awesome printer at half price. So glad that we didn't get up at the azzcrack of dawn for the same thing. Yay, now we have something to print out our invites/menu cards/favor tags/random other wedding crap and photos of Eddie Vedder. (ha!)

Saturday we went to Macy's, but the men's department so it wasn't freakishly frenzied like the women's and home departments. FH grabbed a great deal on some shoes for work and I kept yawning because men's clothes are BOOOOOOOORING.

Then it was on to NY&Co. since everything was 50% off. I ended up getting a cute top, some dress slacks, a pair of tights, a sweater for FH's aunt, a pair of boyshorts (that prior to wedding-planning, I wouldn't have known are in a 'damask' print ) and a really cute Blair Waldorf-y headband, LOL. So cheap. Then the cashier asked if we were AAA members and FH showed her his card...extra discount. I got all of that stuff for like $60. Amazing.

I need new boots now. I saw some at Famous Footwear but I'm convinced I can get them cheaper online.

Yep! I was at Target at 5am! Found some great sales on DVD's and Cd's. Me and my BFF waited on line which was against the back wall for 20 minutes ...then I came up with the idea to hide our goods in the summer aisle in a cooler where i figured no one would be shopping, go to the mall and then go back in the afternoon and pick up our stuff! Worked like a charm!!

You can google a famous footwear coupon usually...I will look for you. I bought 2 pairs of boots from them 2 months ago for less than 100 bucks for both!

I went to the Coach Factory store at midnight. Worst experience ever. I got there at 12:15 PM and the two parking lots were already full and there was already a line outside Coach. We stood online for 3 hours, but I did save about $100 and got the BMs gifts! I'd post pics, but then Jessie will know what she's getting. LOL!

My mom did it for me, lol.

She got me 10' digital picture frames for my FIL's and my father for $50 each from Macy's!

She also picked up the Swarovski earrings for my MOH's at 25% off, and the Swarovski ornament for FMIL and figurine for my best friend's daughter both for 20% off!

Oh AND she bought me a pair of knee high brown boots....because mine are falling apart.

YEPP!!!

I went to kohls...got a down comforter for $25 and flannel sheets for $20. plus 15% off since i used my kohl's charge.

got 2 toys for the dog from petsmart for 50%.

Then went to the jersey outlets the next day. Got VS handsantizing wipes for my BM tote bags for $2 each... a shirt from A&F for $19, 2 pairs of shorts from hollister for $9, a juicy hoodie for $25, 2 pairs of juicy socks for my sister's bday for $8, and a calvin klein wool coat for $75. I made VERY well!! (AND i got mrs. field's cookies cuz theyre soooo good lol)

wow, no, i didn't go shopping, but your experience actually seems surprisingly pleasant!! nice job!!

---

Yeah, it was actually pretty decent.
I've gotten up really early before for the sales, but people get nuttier and nuttier each year...plus I had drank the night before so I was going to bed right around the time that people were getting up for their shopping

i did!!! i go every year

I got dragged to two lowe's and two home depots looking for tools.

Later I stopped by Target to pick up some ornaments and they were not busy at all.

i did Tanger Deer park at Midnight and got my girls and myself wallets from Kate Spade for 50% off
