Did anyone do their own

How many of you did your own STD's, and invitations. If so can you give some ideas?

I'm in the middle of doing them now, so i don't have any pictures to show yet.
But i made my own magnets on visaprint.com by using a picutre of the ocean i took right at Gurney's and adding our names/date to it. $25 for 100!
Then i bought paper from invitationpaper.com, 250 invites for $30. I'm going to use the left over for menu cards.

Yes, it was really easy to do right thru their website. I think they charged me $4 to do it.
Then right on their site, I typed in the wording i wanted to, and was able to choose the font & color of the text.

The paper and envelopes I ordered from www.paper-source.com - VERY INEXPENSIVE and fantastic quality!

Thanks soo much. The reason why I have asked is b/c now I really do understand how important STD's are. When your looking to budget yourself, the price you would spend to let someone else do it is ridiculous, but whne you can do it yourself it makes you feel better about spending. B/c this is a 'BIG MUST HAVE'
Especially for a holiday weekend. So this is my task for the weekend, will let you guys know how it worked out.

We made our own STDs too, but they're not magnets. Just typed them up in MS Word, added a nice pic of the 2 of us, and printed them out on pretty paper. Very inexpensive for a bride on a budget!! Sorry I don't have any pics tho!
