I have had three makeup trials and I haven't really been happy with a single one. So, I'm thinking I may do my own makeup. My friends all say I do a good job. My date is Sept. 15th,so I really don't have time to start looking again for another makeup artist. Plus they are sooo expensive!
Has anyone done their own makeup?
How did it turn out?

I had one makeup trial i hated and then i found someone I loved, but at one point I thought i would just do it myself. In my engagement pics i did it myself and it came out great. If you like they way you do your makeup then go for it!

I did my own make up for my wedding. I too did some trials and didn't really like them.
I went to a MAC counter just to get some fresh make up and some tips. It worked out. I did my make up and one of my bridesmaids.
If you are confident, I would do it. However practice before.

My cousin did her own makeup and it looked great. I'm just not good enough to do my own. I'm using the makeup artist at my salon.

I'm prob going to do my own...seeing I did my sister in laws and her entire bridal party for her wedding and I'm doing another wedding in April !! I think I can handle my own and im such a perfectionist that noone will please me!!

I had FIVE makeup trials and i was unhappy til i found Cynthia from Racine in Islip.
I LOVED her!!!!! She did me, mom, and my sis. And she came to my house.
Call her!! Shes GREAT!

Thanks! Hopefully It's not too late as my wedding is in September.... And I live in SF, so I won't be able to get out there for a trial until 2 weeks before the wedding. EEK!
