21st century todays bride?? they called me saying that i was chosen to collect a free vacation and two other prizes... they SWORE it wasnt one of those timeshare things... me & FH are suppossed to go to this hotel by laguardia airport and test some products out and then fill out a survey and then aparently we get our prizes... i cant figure out if this is a scam or not....

i got that call several times. my SIL went to one of those things and they DID NOT give her a free trip. ALSO, they tell you they will give you a gift certificate. we searched for the gift certificate, and about a hundred people on ebay are selling theirs b/c it's only good for some crap website and it's really not worth anything.
it's a SCAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM! don't waist your time.

SCAM! Nearly everyone on here has gotten that call...so far, i've gotten that call three times (since January!)...i've never gone because I heard that it has messed up people's credit...they usually call right after you attend a bridal show..

i know, i almost went even after she told me that b/c i was hoping maybe i would get the free trip. so that's why i googled the website for their 'gift certificate' and found out it was bogus so i knew it was definitely a scam.
sorry, but at least you didn't go w/o asking on here. it would have REALLY s u c k e d if you had found out that way!

I went to one of those too and i did get a free trip..no airfare included...but two free nights in a marriot..we also got a gift certificate..yes the website wasnt great..but there was no timeshare thing whatsoever as far as the free trip goes....when we went all u had to do watch a presentation of their products..it wasnt bad at all
So i don't know if yours is a scam or not..but you could check it out if you wanted..
