Did anyone else get cheap?!

Now that I have been saving for the last year and a half, I haven't had extra money to go shopping. I used to shop at JCrew all the time and today I went on for the first time in a long time and I'm like WOW, that's expensive!

I don't think I was always this cheap. Did this happen to anyone else?

The further along in wedding planning I get, the cheaper I become!!!

FH was laughing at me last weekend, because I was walking around our new house turning all the lights off behind him everytime he left a room!

right after DH and i left for our HM, my dad went over our house to pick up the dog, and i left him a page of instructions about some things, including shutting the air conditioner in the bedroom....well he didn't!!! i felt like asking him to pay the ridiculous electric bill.....that was my cheapest moment!!!!!

same here... who doesn't like a good bargain?

But I find that I treat myself more often now that I am a little older. you only live once.

OMG! i totally am the same way now. I went into Banana Republic over the weekend and left empty handed ( that never happens) i thought everything was so expensive.

Same here! Now, my problem is that I can't find anything to buy because I am thinking of all the other things I could be doing with my money. I used to go shopping almost every day, even if it was only to buy one thing. I guess that's why I didn't have any money saved before I got engaged.
