take a test at their church? St. Anne's in Garden City made FH and me take a standardized test called FOCUS or something. We're going tonight to get the results and I am actually nervous! Can you fail this test??? Is there a chance that the priest will refuse to marry us? UGH!!!

we have to take it too. You can't fail. I think it is just something to open up communication or thats how it was explained to me.

no you dont fail and the priest wont refuse to marry you based on the test.
Its just to see how well you know eachother basically and your views on certain things. It is used to see where you and your FH might need help in, such as communication, or many times a couple has different views on how children should be raised or how to handle certain situations. They'll see what you two need to work on and discuss that with you

its weird bc i had pre-cana but didnt have to take the foccus test. Its weird but i loved pre-cana hahaha

Yep, we did and went over our results last weekend. You CANNOT fail. Its just to see things to work on, communication, finances- basically gives you an idea of things you might want to discuss before getting married. It was kinda fun!
