I was getting my hair done today and my hairdresser said that someone in the Senate or something proposed a bill or something to IMPEACH George Bush!!!
Did anyone else hear anything about that??

i didnt hear this but they also voted to impeach clinton - it doesnt mean that they actually leave office

What happened today was that Congress used their 2/3 vote to override Bush's veto on a law. This is the first time it has happened in his 7 years in office.
And Laura is right - a president must be impeached AND convicted in order to be forced out of office.
ETA: BTW, I was a politics major in college, so forgive me for being such a loser lol.

wow i wish i knew even a little about Politics!
Well, if you ever wanna know ANYTHING just ask me - I would love to explain and get my money's worth for that 160k undergraduate education that I will seemingly NEVER use in my career.
ETA: I wish there was a way to impeach his *** for letting college costs get THAT out of control. It's nice to blame everything on Dubya!
