I think not giving the call is the thing to do, this way you don't run the risk of telling her what you think of her...

I definitely think this is an e-card only thing made up by the websites to get more interest and use. Lord help us if it takes off.

Girls, call your man's Mother and which her a good day! She gave life to the man of your dreams, that should count for something!

WhatNow? Well said! It was my FMIL''s birthday yesterday and I gave her such a sweet card she got on the phone and was sooo happy, all choked up so I think i earned my brownie points this week! She knows we love her!

We celebrated her b-day last Friday. I gave her a call, went by the restaurant with a cake, a card and a LV bag. I think that is enough.
