Some people just have no clue!

I saw that on the news before...isnt that horrible? Just makes you wonder why people who deserve to have a baby cannot and meanwhile, these people freakin treat their kids the way they do!!!!

I can't believe that people would do this and they only leave the poor child sugar cookies!!! Makes me sooooooooooo MAD

What the heck were they thinking?

maybe I'm stating the obvious here, but why is it that you need a license to get married, but not to have children. How do you leave a baby home by itself with only milk & cookies.

I thought I heard the mother had just gotten her cleaning job and there was supposed to be a babysitter.

ALso, I heard that they other people in the house are known to watch over eachothers children..

So my question is this:
If you KNEW the kid was there alone why didnt you go to it? Why call the cops.. it's not like any of them has NEVER let their kids stay alone.

This is a personal rub for me cause it's how I now have three younger siblings. Their mother would leave them in the apt and crack the door open so neighbors could hear them and she'd take off. Mostly the neighbors took care of them off and on, but once they neighbors went out for weeks on end and this stupid mother left her kids alone all day. It was the landlord who finally came to fix a leak who noticed the door open. Thought it was a robbery and found the children.

Other stupid acts and other nasty actions later... (AND after the kids were taken away THREE-yes THREE times) my father finally said he'd take them permanently. After a year of court and other red tape I now have 2 adopted brothers (twins) and an adopted sister. When we got them the twins were 6 months old (but three mths preemies) and my sister was 1 and a half. THey were sick and God awful dirty.. I nearly puked at having my sister on my lap (I was 16).

People just don't care. But at the same time I wonder.. what about those who let it happen?
