Mine is being preserved now by Keepsake Floral -- I should have it back in a few weeks. I also sent my DH's boutinaire with it.

I had callas and berries in my bouquet and and having them do a similiar arrangement to below

I can't wait to see how it turns out!!

I actually give my bouquet to my maid of honor at the reception....it was my little way of saying thanks to her for all the help she gave me...since she didn't participate in the bouquet toss...I thought it would be nice....

I am going to try to save up so I can get it - i really love press flowers and to have something of mine would be so important to me along with fh's bout. I am not sure if i want a pic of us just the flowers arranged and maybe our invitation (still unsure on that).

Hi, I preserved my daughters bouquet then bought a deep shadow box ,lined it with material and put her invitation in with it too. You can buy silica gel. I couldn't find any at any craft stores but you can buy it on EBAY. You need to take pictures of the bouquet take it apart and bury the flowers in the gel. You need at least 20 pounds of it and 2 large containers. I did mine 28 years ago and still looks good. If you want more details of it let FM me. I believe I have a pic of it in my album.

I am having it done through Keepsake Floral -- www.keepsakefloral.com

They can do so many things with your bo-k after the flowers have been dried. I called them a month or so before the wedding and they will go over all the details with you -- then you need to leave them a deposit on a credit card. Then they will send you a box with a styrofoam cooler, ice packs, and special packing materials in order for your bo-k to be shipped to them. Keepsake Floral is located in Florida. My mom was great and shipped my bo-k off for me since we were on our way to our HM. You ship them the first business day following your wedding. So for me -- we got married on a Friday and we shipped them on Monday. The time in between the wedding & shipping flowers were regfirgerated.

We got a call when we got back from the honeymoon to set up an appt. over the phone to design the keepsake. There are tons of frames and fabrics to choose from -- I requested some samples of the materials when I had a tough time making a decision on exactly what I wanted I finalized my keepsake just before Thanksgiving and I should have it in 10 to 14 weeks they said. I can't wait!!

As for price it all depends on the way you want them preserved (to resemble your origanal bo-k, a monogram with the flowers, pressed flowers), the frame size & type. There are some upgrades. I think overall mine came to around $400. To me it was worth it -- I trully loved my flowers and will have them forever framed with DH's boutinaire and our invite. We figure we'll hang it in our bedroom

Hope this helps -- you can FM me if you have more ?'s
