How much do they cost? I just need drop off and pick up and the quotes I am getting are ridiculous. Seriously, it would be cheaper to call every car service in the book and pay for 20 cars ... It's 8 miles and they want $675 + gratuity for the driver?
There has to be a better way...Hoping someone has advice....

Re: Did anyone have a shuttle bus?
Serenity quoted me $25 per person. I thought that was more reasonable than a flat price. It still equals to be about $1000., but when we told other companies what we wanted they wanted to give us a 14-18 passenger excursion and make a few trips. Yeah, um NO!

That's about what I'm paying. An alternative is to have guests stay at a hotel that provides shuttle bus service to your venue. Some of them do. But usually the shuttle only holds 15 people.

Re: Did anyone have a shuttle bus?
This is what I found... one hotel that has a shuttle that holds 12 people - my whole family and most of my bridal party are from out of state. That is before we get into the people who just know they will drink and want to stay. They want $125 for each trip after 2....
Maybe car service really is the best way..... I HATE THIS PART!!!!

Re: Did anyone have a shuttle bus?
We will also have many OOT guests, but I really don't see them getting by without a car for the 3-4 days they will be here. Unless it is for elderly guests who do not drive, I'm beginning to think the shuttle bus is going overboard. We have always rented a car or bummed a ride when attending OOT weddings (except when I was a BM), I have never been treated to a shuttle or bus paid for by the bride and groom.
Drinkers, well, they need a designated driver, no?
