Did anyone have extra crinoline sewn into their dress?

I was going to get a slip, but my FSIL mentioned that they can just sew an extra layer or 2 into my dress so I don't have to wear a slip...Has anyone done this?

I got my dress at Bridal Reflections, so if anyone else did, can you let me know how much they charge for it?
