health insurance during pregnancy and delivery?You know, refusing to pay for somehing, claiming certain things weren't covered under your policy or weren't 'neccesary'?

I have GHI PPO and no problems so far.
But we may be switching to another co. beginning in June I wonder what will happen then?

IMO see if you can switch to an HMO... PPO's make you pay for every little thing. My sister had one when she had my neice and they got tons of bills from the hospital after she was born. They only pay for certian things. I actually had Aetna PPO untill Dec and them we switched over to Hubbys HOm.. i would find out NOW what they cover with Labor and delivery. I know Dr visits are ok but the hospital is a totally different story

HMMM... I thought it was the HMO that makes you pay for things and PPO was the better coverege because it's more expensive and doesn't require referrals... I better call them than
