Did anyone have their Rehearsal Dinner at The Inn at Quogue?

I think there are some Atlantica brides on here that did, any reviews (good or bad)? We're thinking of having it there...

Yes me to.. I was thinking of having it there.
Our church is in Center Moriches and it's not too far. There are not that many good restaurants on the south shore out east.

I did! The back room worked out great. One bad, really bad, thing was John - the matire d' for the night - he was so rude to us. I don't even know how he got that job. Just tell Pete you don't want John on the night you go - seriously, he almost ruined the entire thing for me but I was able to walk away!

did your guests stay there as well? are the rooms nice? i am looking into it as somewhere for my guests to stay as well as a place to have the RD...

A little update on our part...
I got a quote from the manager 3 weeks ago for our RD.
Well, my FMIL called him last week to book it, & he told her that he raised the price & wouldn't honor what he told me 3 weeks before!!!
It's too bad, it would have been really convenient for my guests, & not that it was a HUGE price difference, but it's the principle, you know? He should have kept his word.
Needless to say, we are going elsewhere.

FMIL wound up booking it @ Casa Busso (?) in Westhampton (got some great reviews). Never been there, so hope it's good.

my friend got married at Atlantica this past august and she had the rehearsal (lunch) at Starr Boggs -- it was really GREAT. we were in a private room off the side of the restaurant surrounded by windows -- very very nice!

also, we all stayed at the Inn at Quogue and hung out at the bar both nights which was really nice!

I was going to book my guests at the Inn at Quogue and they wanted to put us in the Montauk rooms. Both times we visited, they refused to give us a tour. Finally, FI went around back and peeked in a window. Not good. Very small. We also found their groups person to be incredibly hard to reach. She only works Sat & Sun. Overall, I was very unimpressed with them!

I do appreciate the ideas for rehearsal dinner though!!! We still need to book ours.

I am getting married at Atlantica also and We did book our guests at the Inn at Quogue. I cant even tell you HOW MANY problems we have had with them.
not returning phone calls, not honoring the price on the rooms we blocked, etc...
it kind of stinks that they are so convient to atlantica.

OH and also, we called to complain and found out that the person who did handle the bookings (i think pat) isnt with them anymore.. BUT we left a message for the new person and she hasnt called us back either - has been almost a week!

oh no - sorry that is happening to you guys - pat was really helpful for our wedding! the rooms are not the best but for an in season wedding the prices were the best for the area. some of the rooms have twin beds. overall it was fine and i loved our bridal suite. FM if you guys have anymore questions since i'm rarely on the wedding boards anymore!
