About the gangs hangin out around broadway mall all this month doing an initiation of some sorts and apparently we shouldnt go shopping or go near the mall since they are targeting someone to get into the gang? something like that anyone know anything?

I actually saw it on the news this morning and they said it was an email hoax. they said its totally safe to shop there.

I heard about it, but I ran into a woman in the bank at Carle Place and said women are getting robbed coming out of their drivveways in the morning in the Levittown/Carle Place area.

everytime i hear about those gang initiations in brooklyn, they turn out to be true. go to roosevelt field instead lol

i feel like those gang initiation warnings at malls and walmarts come out every year around the holidays and it always ends up that its just some email hoax.

I JUST head that rumor today... as I was heading out on my lunch break to go to the broadway mall...
I didn't see any gangs, but I DID buy a super cute pair of boots at the new forever21 that opened!

I haven't heard that, but I CAN tell you that gang activity is getting much more prevalent in the Amityville and Wyandanch areas. I work in Amityville and a lot of my clients live in Wyandanch. My boss told me from now on I have to make any Wyandanch visits during day light hours for safety reasons (which of course is fine by me, lol).
But the point is, they don't always just stay in their towns, so it's very possible.

I don't believe its gang related but I know there have been multiple robberies in East Meadow and now the Bellmore area.
