I was watching the news last night and they announced that the 2006 hurricaine season is going to be the worst ever!!!!!! GREAT!!!!
How many others have carribean HM plans!?????!!!!!

I was just reading that in Newsday!!! We're going on a cruise out of NY. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for nice weather.

This is why I am going to California

I am just keeping my finger crossed that we don't get hit, and especially that we don't get hit on my wedding day. I don't have very good luck with the weather though so the odds are against me

it's the ocean temps...they are warmer than usual...making for stronger hurricanes...Katrina like hurricanes..

forget about honeymoons...what about the people that LIVE there! some of the poorest countries (and COUNTIES ) are in the hurricaine belt.

I hope they are wrong. If we can get out $hit together when a big one hits the US, God bless the other countries

They say this every year. Being a November Bride, it's one of my biggest fears that we'll get hit with a hurricane. FH says I should stop finding things to worry about because, if we do, there's not going to be a darn thing we can do about it. I focus on thinking positive and praying for sunshine!!!

It is because of the Global warming. Waters are getting warmer and warmer so it causes more hurricanes that are more destructive and it's only going to get worse.

We actually worked around the hurricane season when we picked our wedding date. But we still have to pray for no rain.

We will be going on a cruise during Oct. Hurricane season. We are doing southern caribbean, Aruba, and such so hopefully we'll miss it. On past cruises if there was a hurricane they usually detour you to somewhere safe. Really not worried.
