Did anyone hire a photographer for their Rehearsal/Dinner

I am thinking of doing this but only for like 2 hours and I wanted to get some feedback. I am kind of torn. In a way I want nice pics of the rehearsal/dinner but then I am thinking do I really want to waste the money.

The only reason I am even considering it is because I know that everyone at the rehearsal is going to be too busy or preoccupied to take pictures.

i had thought about it, but i wanted to just sit back and relax the night before the big day. it was good just to sit and laugh w/ family and friends and i just had some family members and a friend take pictures!

I wanted to ask some family or friends to take pictures but every time we get together we always forget to take pictures. I am usually the one out of the group who takes pictures and I know I am not going to that day. I figured I just wanted the photog for the church and the first hour at the dinner. The rest I just wanted to hang out and relax.

I was thinking about this too, but we decided with all the out town guests, they'll be plenty of pics, and I also told one of my BM's to be on picture patrol if need be.

i'm going to see if a friend of ours who is a photographer will come take pics that night. i'm hiring her for a second surprise e-pic shoot too.

i think im going to-i never feel like i can have enough pictures, and i want to make sure everything is documented

im not going to hire a photographer for the RD. im sure that friends and fam will take enough pics to keep me happy

I did it for my sister's bridal shower for $100 for 4 hours. FM me if you want her info. I plan to do it for my rehearsal dinner too.

we didnt do it - in hindsight maybe it would have been nice - but I did take a lot of my own pics along with other familty members taking pics - so I just didnt feel the need - neither did our budget...lol...
