Meaning I think I now want to do e-pics. FH thinks I am crazy but Duet charges $400 which FH said no too. So I was wondering did anyone just do e-pics with a photographer and how much did they charge?
im not sure i understand the question... i did e pics with my photographer... this also was an extra charge (475)
j'adore love quoted me i think $325.

Option # 2 is to have a lesser known photographer do it ... we're using As You Wish Photography for the wedding itself ... they're really really nice people and easy to get along with ... they had some really good ideas for locations to take e-pics at .... but i have no idea what their prices are for that .... our wedding package was really affordable so i'm assuming this should be too

I did EPics with Twelfth Night and they were free with our package if they were on Long Island, or $250 if they were in the city. We did city.
I thought that e-pics were free w/ a package. I would call different companies and get different quotes and go with the lowest quote. That quote seems high esp. if you are using them for the wedding too...but I'm no expert so I could be wrong just basing it from photographers that I got quotes from.

Mine were included in my package from duet.

Ours were included (12th Night). I know one person suggested having a cheaper photographer do the engagement photos, but pretty much all of the photographers we went to told us that doing an engagement session with the day-of photographer is really important because they get to tell your best angles, what your chemistry is like, what you respond to best (i.e. sense of humor, 'cheesy' poses, etc.), plus it's a chance to make sure that you love the person that you'll be spending 12 hours with that day. I personally don't think I'd feel comfortable working for a photographer for the first time AT my wedding, just as I wouldn't dream of not having a hair or makeup trial. I'm surprised Duet didn't have it in their package - I remember then including it when I went to see them.
