I'd like to do make my own, to cut costs. Has anyone done this and do you have pictures?
TIA

Re: Did anyone make her own veil?
I am not that crafty but I did get mine from ebay. It was very resonable and came quickly. Here is the thread I posted about it the other day. Scroll down a few posts to see the pic of it. Veil post

No, but my Matron of Honor's mother made hers. You couldn't tell it was handmade, and it was definitely inexpensive.

My friend also BM is making mine, she said it is very easy to do, she has made 3 so far for other brides, she hasn't started mine yet but I will ask if she has pictures of the others

I haven't made one but there are step by step instructions on the michael's web site, just click on weddings.

Ditto the ebay suggestion - I typed in 'cathedral length veil' and I believe the vendor I used was rearwindow52. The single tier veil came to $20 including shipping.

Re: Did anyone make her own veil?
My mom is going to be making mine. She got the pattern from my aunt's friend. Her friend has made 4 or 5 of them and said it is really pretty easy as long as you are comfortable on a sewing machine.
