Did anyone make their own headpiece?

I was thinking about ordering trim from my dress and making a comb or headband out of it and then purchasing a veil to wear underneath. There is a small strip of trim with crystals on it (see picture).

Does anyone know where I could find a plain comb or headband and then how would I attach it??? Hot glue gun???

My dress is so simple I didn't want a really fussy headpiece.

Beutiful Dress!!!! Try Patchogue Floral/Fantasyland in Patchogue. that is where I got mine. Very inexpensive and pretty. they can custom make them I think.
