I thought I was going to book with Marriott but I went to look at the rooms today and they are a little small. I went to La Quinta and saw the bridal suite for the first time. I fell in love :) The only thing is that La Quinta is more money. I was just wondering if anyone negotiated with them on the price and how flexible they are? I have been dealing with Tyleen. Any suggestions or information would be greatley appreciated. TIA
Im dealing with Tyleen too but I have no problems since the Marriott was more money. I would speak to Tyleen and see what she can do. It doesn't hurt to ask :)
i did..i got them down 14 dollars a night
I didn't - I am horrible at that - plus they were so much cheaper than any hotel I looked into

i didn't ask but the room was the same price as inn at fox hollow and was much, much bigger. The marriott wanted $575 a night for bridal suite. I booked with Tyleen as well at La Quinta and she was great
i just blocked at La Quinta last week. I was working with Tyleen. She couldnt come down on the standard guest room rate, but she was able to come down $20 on the suites. we got the junior suite with the french doors.

I booked with Tyleen I got her down 10 dollars a night from her original price which was the cheapest I had found before the discount. I thought she was great. There was some confusion like I booked with them, then someone else called me to talk rates from there the same day so it was an innocent mistake. I thought Tyleen was real nice

She called me at 9:00 this morning and I missed the call, so I called her back at 9:30 and its 2:06 and she still hasn't returned my call. Other than that I think she's nice and hopefully I can get her to come down on the price and book with them today. Wish me luck.

Try asking how full the hotel is. The group blocking contact (didn't get a name, I think it's in the hotel's corporate office) told me that since the hotel is practically full on my date, they can't negotiate much. It might be a big part of the price they offer.
