I just find it soooooooooooo expensive, and I don't know when I would ever use it, since it is so expensive and I wouldn't want anyone to break it.

we are not registering for china, silver, or crystal.... we just don't see ever using them. we would prefer to double up on our everyday dishes, which we'll use all the time. many of my friends who did register for china regret it now because it truly just takes up space in their closets!

I didn't register for china or good stemware. I got more expensive everyday china and stemware.
My mother passed away and I will be receiving hers, which is more special to me.

No china, since mt grandmother is giving me hers, but I did register for crystal. I think there was another thread about this too... lots of good information why some ppl prefer not to register for these things. Do a search

we didnt register for china. We did register for more expensive silverwear and some stemwear.
