i'm going to build-a-bear and have the RB make a bear (we'll give the bear a tux to wear) ... we're going to tie a ribbon with the rings around the bear's neck and that'll be our 'pillow'
then, the RB will get to keep the bear (he's REALLY excited about it)

My cousin had a cinderella theme at her wedding at the did something like this on TOP of a pillow:

The RB was like 6 at the time and it worked out perfectly. Though now when he talks about it he complains about how heavy it was lol.

I dont have a picture of it, but I didnt want a ring bearer pillow either, so FH made 2 little chests, one for each ring, out of wodden boxes from Michaels. They are plain little chest boxes, and we spray painted it a cherry red, and I am putting a ribbon around and putting statin fabric inside to hold the ring.

i think i will be using the ring bearer pillows. i don't want anything to actually happen to those rings! lol. but i really like this flower idea! it looks heavy! do you know if it is?

I actually think its really cute idea, and I am looking for substitutes for the pillow as well.
How heavy is it? And how old is your RB?

I was actually going to buy all the kids little bears and some other stuff and put it in cute bags and leave them by the place setting or something.

we're not putting our real wedding bands on the teddy bear ... you're not really supposed to put your real rings on the pillow either (you're supposed to have fake ones)

Unfortunately, I already told m 6yr old nephew he would be ringbearer and explained what one does..so he would prob be dissapointed if I did anything different. It's bad enough I havent told him that he's not going to be carrying the real rings.
