I don't think so. One of my good friends just got married three weeks ago and I didn't even notice until she pointed it out to me.

Im only wearing my veil at the ceremony, and mine doesnt go over my face for a half hour out of a 5 and a half hour celebration i will have it on

i don't think i'm wearing one. i feel like it makes my head look bigger than it is. unless i happen to stumble upon one i love and is really cheap i won't be wearing one.

I was this close to not getting one but in the end I got one----it's a single tier, no blusher, and I'm only wearing it for the ceremony.

Its not horrible! I think I might just wear it for the ceremony, but I'm still undecided if I want one at all.

my friend didn't wear on =e for her 7/7/07 wedding... She wore a gorgeous white flower in her hair though so the veil wasn't missed

of course not, why would it be horrible? im not wearing one at all and i have no doubts about that decision. ive always found that for me, I dont like the look of one on me or the feel of one getting in my way. do what you feel most comfortable with!

I wore my hair all down with a veil at the church and thats it. the veil was gone once I walked back down the aisle with the hubby.

I didn't wear one....Do what you feel comfortable in. When I was trying them on I just didn't like how I looked with a veil on

Do whatever you're comfortable with and will make you happy! I'm going to wear a veil, but only through cocktail hour. I don't think it matters! Try it both ways and see what you prefer.

I don't plan on wearing one...it is just not me. Plus our reception will be outside on the water and I dont want to have to worry about it blowing into my face and being annoying. It is your day....substitute the veil with a tiara!!!
