did anyone print their own placecards??

i hope this makes sense, i was just going to do them myself on the computer, but i don't want to use the ones that come in a sheet with perforations. Did anyone do them with the ones that come individual all ready?

i tried but it didn't work because the placecards given to me by RH came with a little raised swan cutout at the fold or maybe its just cause they were too small. I was going to get the ones I saw at AC Moore. actually need to do that SOON. did you try it?

we did but we used the ones that come on a sheet with the perforations... I would think it would be a big PITA to print them all seperately!

I thought they came out pretty nice!

We are going to do the same..I would imagine they are too small to print out individually

Yep, we bought them at Staples. We just used the font that came with them - you go to a website to download the template and it comes with a font.
We were trying to do it really fast and with the least amount of work possible!

Where did you get the business cards? Did you print them out yourself? They came out fantastic. I am using little wine goblet placeholders. I think this might work for me.

Staples.. it comes with a template and everything and I got the 'clean edge' ones so there was no preferations

We used the preforated ones for the CDs...in reality, you can't really see the edge unless you stare at it.

Lauren, are those the ones that are 'foil' edged - meaning the pearl part is shiny?

If you dont like the preforations, you can also print them out onto cardstock and cut them down yourself... or they also sell the preforated business cards that are called clean cut... they are a little more expensive, but you can barely tell that they were preferated...

Yes, it was more shiny than the rest of the card. I don't know if it was called 'foil' edged though.
