At work we have showers for everyone who is getting married or having a baby.
I mentioned to someone that I want a tool shower since we close on our house soon. They suggested I register at Home Depot for my work shower.
Now the problem is, I have no clue what kind of tools to register for. I have nothing. Please give me some ideas. TIA.

We kindof did.
We talked to Home Depot, they told me they do not do registries but they do wish lists online and on paper in the store.
What we are doing is making a website of the renovations we want to make and what we are buying, then people are contributing. Then we also have a list of tools and are registered somewhere else for people who are not as comfortable with this.
Sorry this is not tool ideas but if you think of what you want to make and what reno's you want to do then you may have a better idea of what tools to register for.

i didnt think you could register there ..thats a good idea since you'll need things from there for the house..
maybe a screwgun ..a laser aligner for hanging pictures ,,,,gift cards are good ....basic things like a screw driver, hammer, nails, tool box ..

table saw drill air compressor and tools power washer
my dad started to buy tools for Fh to give us as a house warming gift.. so im trying to think of what he started to buy and we gave FH already

I started registering online but it says then people can only buy the items online. Maybe they can then just take ideas off that if they go to the store.

Thanks. I actually wanted my wishing well to be tools but my mom shot down that idea so I'm glad my friends at work brought it up.

We registered at Home Depot, not for tools since FH already has most of them. But we added things like light fixtures, gift cards, faucets, and lots of home improvement stuff.

Home Depot has been a main shopping spot since FH moved into his new house. I had no idea they did registries. How cool! I would register for the 'kits' of tools they sell. That way you have a little of everything

i have no idea if this is even an option, but what about Lowe's??? Do they have a registry??? It's basically the same thing as Home Depot. Just a thought.
