I want to register for one for my room and one for the guest room.. Did anyone else do that? Is it tacky?
TIA

Re: Did anyone register for 2 bedroom sets?
I didn't - but I would register for a less expensive one for the guest room - maybe a bed-in-the-bag type deal for $100-150.

Re: Did anyone register for 2 bedroom sets?
I thought of the same thing, but right now we have a futon in the guest room and not a real bed. We're planning to get a real bed so I decided I'd just wait until we do that so I know the size, etc. But, if I had it now, I would have registered for two sets - I don't think it is tacky, I think it's just what a particular person needs! I didn't register for a vacuum and other expensive stuff that I didn't need so I think it is OK!

but the one for the guest room was a bed in a bag from BBB and i think it was $119.00, but i figures if someone has a %20 off coupon that i would get it. and i did i got both

Re: Did anyone register for 2 bedroom sets?
I registered for 2 sets for our bedroom because I couldnt decide and one was more expensive then the other so it will give people a choice. Plus a lot of times bedding gets discontinued so if this happens at least I will have one set left.
I thought of registering for a set for the guest room but I wasn't sure if this would look tacky or not.

i never changed this time to my winter one and i totally regretted it but my winter one is red velvet that my mom got me and i have a cat now and she loooves the bed and would shed all over it. so i didn't want it ruined. meanwhile I was cold and sleeping with a down comforter all winter over the bedding b/c it's lighter.

Re: Did anyone register for 2 bedroom sets?
We registered for 2 - one at BBB and one at Macys. Since we'll be moving into our house before my shower we will need to purchase one of them for our bed. One is a lot more expensive than the other but it includes everything in a bed in a bag plus all these extras.

I registered one set for our bedroom and and one set for the guest bedroom.
It's not tacky at all...it's something you need for your house.

Re: Did anyone register for 2 bedroom sets?
we currently have 2 on our registry, as of last night. I wanted a blue set and fell in love with one online, but havent seen it in person (yet?). the macys by me didnt have it in the store.
the other i really liked yesterday when we went to Macy's. not sure if we will pick one, or do both. (one is like an ivory, the other is blue). we can always make one for our future guest room or change it up with the seasons. not sure.
we are having a lot of trouble thinking of more things to add to our registries. we got so many wrapped gifts for our e-party, and i am going to have a shower in ny and a small one out here, plus our OOT guests will probably not want to give cash wedding gifts. At least if we put 2 sets of bedding it will give us some more things to list?
i really am at a loss, unless i add even more glassware, or dishes....

Re: Did anyone register for 2 bedroom sets?
we currently have 2 now and i switch back and forth between them....i'm think we are going to register for 2 for the wedding and if we end up not liking them anymore by the time we move into our house (which is def a possibility) we can always use them in our guest bedrooms....its hard to pick out bedding when you dont know what your bedroom will look like and what kind of furniture you are going to have

Re: Did anyone register for 2 bedroom sets?
I registered for two $200 bed in a bag things. I don't even have a guest room- I just liked them both. I figured people could pick whatever they wanted. If I get both-awesome-if not-who cares? Then I'll be able to buy it at a discount if I still want it.

Re: Did anyone register for 2 bedroom sets?
You can register for pretty much anything. You never know what people will purchase. Add on the extra set. Maybe a less expensive bed in a bag so you get the completet set for your guest room
