I registered for a toaster oven and a 4 slice toaster. I don't know why but people told me to put both on there. I have alot of cabinets and counter space. I'll probably keep one on the counter and the other in a cabinet.

I registered for the kitchen aid toaster oven. I'm starting to worry that my registry is too pricey though....

yes but I can't get a picture because i can't get on the website at work, it's a cuisinart toaster oven, I think it goes for $99.99 and it's awesome! We bought it for my parents for their anniversary and now the whole family has one

We registered for a Krups toaster oven which is the top of the line one. I don't think they carry it in stores, they have to ship it to you.

It is pricey ($199 before 20% off) but it is 100% worth it. It has an excellent bake function where you don't have to wait for it to preheat, you just put it in, set the time and temp and press start! I always hated using the oven because I never wanted to wait for it to pre-heat so this is amazing. It's also digital, so no dials to mess with.

I bake everything in the toaster oven (salmon, stuffed chicken, casseroles, etc) except for lasagna -- the pan is too big although you could use a smaller one.

Everything cooks perfectly! It also makes good toast and garlic bread. We wanted a bigger size so I could cook in it and reheat pizza since we are rarely just toasting bread. We keep 2 pot holders on top of it and then store things on top so it really doesnt take up that much space.

It comes with a really nice set of tongs that have a little hook at the end to use for pulling out the tray. it also comes with 2 baking pans that are special made to fit in the toaster oven.

This was my #1 favorite registry item and I highly recommend it.

I did A LOT of research on toaster ovens. FH has never had one before and we always have. He didn't want one and was adamant about taking up counter space (we just renovated our kitchen from floor to ceiling and he doesn't want something to take up space on our gorgeous granite countertops, block the new tile backsplash or just stick out). I know from experience with my mom that so many of them stink and don't cook evenly, break easily and what-not. So, I found that the Kitchenaid is the best one...not too big OR too small (too many of them are too tiny!!!) and can double as a toaster. It's really nice looking and matches my stainless appliances....didn't see if they have other colors though. HTH

This is the one we registered for, and I have to say it does not work that well as a toaster. Its great as a convection oven, but it seems like it takes 2-3x longer to toast something than in our old toaster.
