Did anyone see the movie 'Monster' with Charlize Theron?
We watched it last night - I could not believe it was Charlize - she 100% deserved her Oscar!!
Sad story though....

That movie was crazy. I saw it last weekend. It was weird seeing her that way.

I won't go see it...I hate movies that make killers look sad...THey aren't sad to me they are KILLERS...I don't care what kind of BS childhood she had... AND a lot of BS is made up so a jury feel sympathy for a killer so they won't send them to the frying pan!

It is definitely worth seeing. They sent her to the 'Frying pan' a while back (the real life lady) But I can see your point about making the stuff up.

Yes i remember...I remember her trial too! SHe is sick and i can't feel bad for her...

We rented it last weekend. While I did feel bad for her at the beginning, at the end she was just evil, killing everyone regardless of whether they were evil or malicious to her. It definitely did not present her in a light in which she was thought to be doing no wrong. Amazing to see Charlize like that--I really give her credit for putting on all that weight, and losing it so quickly after.
