Did anyone send out save the date cards? What do I have to include on the cards and do I have to send them to everyone who is going to be invited or just the out of towners?

I was wondering about this also. I only have a couple of people comming from out of town. If i do send them who do I send them to. Thanks.

I am sending them to everyone on my A list so they will have enough time to take days off if need be. I am including the hotel cards in the envelopes.

I am sending them out in febuary... I am including our date and hotel info. We are having a lot of out of towners so I wanna give everyone a 'hears' up. I am also sending them out to people in the area as well. We are having a sunday wedding so i wanna give everyone a lot of time to take off from work if necessary...

I sent save the date magnets in Aug/September.
I included our names & the wedding date, Woodbury, New York and said 'Invitation to follow' on the bottom, so some people didn't think that was the invite!
We sent them to everyone who at that time was on our list that we were sure would still be invited once the invitations were ready.
I didn't send to some coworkers, because my office changes frequently so...here today, gone tomorrow.

I sent out STD magnets in my holiday cards to everyone we are sure we are inviting.
