Did anyone try getting prices for gowns over the phone?

Did anyone try getting prices for gowns over the phone?

My daughter is at the point where she is looking for the best price for the gown she has chosen. Do you know which places will quote a price over the phone and which will not?

(I couldn't resist asking the question. You girls are great. You know so much and are always eager to help everyone.)

RK Bridal will give prices over the phone.

I think if it's presented that you're looking for the best price, most places will give proces over the phone. I didn't have a problem when I was looking for a particular dress...and I'm not anticipating one now that I (think!) I've found 'the' dress.

Try Lidia's Bridal in Copiague. I got my dress there... it has been a perfect experience! They are more than accomodating for everything you need. Nicest people I've done business with so far! They have incredible prices on gowns and accessories and a huge selection. (I feel like I should work for their marketing department!)

Lidias also has great prices on alterations

Burton's gave me their price over the phone and it was cheaper then other places I looked, by a lot of money.

I agree about Burton's being the best price. I called numerous places once i knew which gown i wanted and their price was the best. Most everyplace i called gave me a quote over the phone. Also, i ordered my bridesmaids gowns at gownsales.com - they give you an e-mail quote on their site and they were extremely lower than the shop we went to. They are located in Centereach and deal directly with the designers.

the wedding center of commack gave me a quote over the phone, but I chose not to get my dress there.
