Did anyone type up their own insert for invitations

listing the hotels you had blocked for guests?

If so how did you word it?
I am having trouble wording mine.

If you have sample or word file I would love to see it.

I didn't make this but maybe this can help you.

I gave the text to the printer and had them print it up... so the paper would match the rest of my save the date.

Here is the text included:

For guests who would like to stay overnight, we have reserved rooms at *hotel #1* and *hotel #2*. Please mention that you are attending the *brides names/grooms name* wedding and receive special rates. Transportation will be provided to and from the wedding. Please book no later than March 8, 2004. (which was a month before the actual deadline set by the hotels)

***I also set up a wedding website and included more information about the hotels like area shopping, delis, hair salons and liquor stores. hope this helps.

Hi- I created the site through weddingchannel.com. I wanted my sister to create a site for me, but I did not feel like waiting for her to find the time.

Weddingchannel.com has templates that are very easy to fill in. They will also send you little inserts for your save the dates or invitations... as many as you would like (you must request these inserts). The inserts are an ivory color and are 2' x 2'

I chose the one that read as follows:

The couple invites you to view their personal Wedding Website online at www.weddingchannel.com

Guest password (if any)

I did not choose the insert that mentions the registry and the website... I thought that was tacky.
