A 8 year old girl grew her hair for a year and she cut 13 inches off for kids who has cancer and who have no hair she wants other 8 years old who are suffering to have her hair,her mom was doing the same thing! god bless her and her family they have good hearts!

It was probably Locks of Love. I'm growing my hair so that I can donate it too, also an LIW bride's daughter just did it as well!

I've been growing mine again for the wedding but I don't know if it'll be long enough for donating afterwards. I do plan on chopping it all off again. Do you remember the minimum length for it? Was it 10 inches?

My niece did it last year and a friend did it a couple of weeks ago. I think it's awesome! Especially when children do it.

I once tutored a woman who 20 inches in one cut!! I think she said her daughter did it as well.

I did it recently, after the wedding - you need to have a 10' long ponytail. Wow- did my hair feel short afterwards!
