Did anyone watch the convention last night?

I didn't think the speeches really outlined and solidifed things as I hoped they would, but I thought they were moving. I am as ever amazed at Bill Clinton. He's such an incredible orator. I've never seen anything like him.

Seeing Al Gore up there made me want to cry. THAT's the president we elected. We can't let this happen again. Whomever you're going to vote for, just get out there and VOTE.

yeah, Hilary kind of annoyed me in that way also. I thought her little speech was the least inspiring and most snore worthy. I love my FH, but I'd be embarassed giving him that kindof buildup. Then again, slick willie was a great prez.

Ummm..obviously..

it's funny I was JUSTb thinking I wish we had signatures on the boards just so I can officially say that everything is 'just my opinion.' Maybe I'll change the little heading under my avatar

Unfortunately, I fell asleep. I do agree that watching gore must have been heartbreaking. DH & I were having a similar conversation a few days ago......If the exit polling would not have been reported in Florida until after the polls in the west had closed, it is posible that more people would have voted, and tht Gore may have won with or wihout Florida.....I don't really recall the exact tallies, but it lead to an interesting question...do we rely to heavily on exit polling? Is it possible that reporting the exit polls cost Gore the election (along with the multitude of other shady events)?

of course i watched it

clinton is so good and he loves every minute of it...

there was one woman who annoyed me even more than hilary, couldn't give a speech to save her life , not that i can either

go democrats go!
