They called me this wkend and said I won a trip. I'm trying to figure out if I should be excited or if this (like most things) has a catch.

Re: Did anyone win something from Royal Prestige?
From what I have read on the boards, I think it's a scam. I'm sure girls will reply.

I got that call. Went to this presentation thing to claim my prize. They told me over the phone it was only an hour and there was no obligation to purchase anything. Wound up being 4 hours and they gave you a nasty attitude when you walked out without purchasing a thing.
...but I got the prize. Its a 3 day 2 night vacation to a choice of Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Mexico or Bahamas. I don't know if the prize is a scam...but I wouldnt suggest going.

Really!!! I won too this weekend!! It's a scam, they say you don't have to buy anything, but I don't trust it. I let the woman ramble, needed a break from my thesis anyway. She said I sounded skeptical.. Like DUH!!

It is NOT a scam
I got my vacation days and didn't have to buy a thing.
Jim bought two pots because he liked them and honestly we love them now. They steam things so quickly!! Seeing as we just moved into a place with an electric stove we keep pulling them out.
The offer itself however is NOT a scam
Its a marketing technique and they are VENDORS ON THIS SITE!

I got that call and the first thing the guy said after my name was 'okay don't start screaming, because the last girl I called got really excited'. He told me and I showed no emotion. I don't know who he called but, they must not be to bright!
It is such a short trip and I did research on the resorts and they don't look that good.

I too bought the pots. And silverware. I have not used the silverware yet, we're saving it for after the wedding. I too love the pots. No complaints. They have a booth at Queens Center Mall.

Re: Did anyone win something from Royal Prestige?
I don't mind them taking more than an hr of my time....and honestly I dont mind even buying something from them b/c we do need a lot of things. What I'm curious about is the trip. Everyone is saying its a scam...but they do give you the trip regardless? Has anyone actually went? I just know we are going to be really strapped for cash in the next few yrs so a free trip is a free trip. Maybe we would add on a few days and make a really nice vacation out of it....has anyone went on this prize trip?

I did the whole presentation thing and bought stuff, and got the trip voucher. The ONLY thing was it's supposed to have a # on it written in and mine didn't have it. I called a few weeks later to tell them, they said they'd mail a new one. They did, but it didn't have the number on it either. I have too much going on right now to call back again.
