He did'nt have a hard time with 30 but he had a hard time with 32!!

How is he having a hard time? Is he depressed? Make him feel young, take him to Jillian's or something to play video games!

NOPE--- ME AND HIS MOM THREW FH A SUPRISE PARTY. I WAS ONLY DATING HIM 4 MONTHS AT THE TIME....

FI was depressed about turning 30 for about a year and a half leading up to his birthday. By the time he reached his birthday, I think he just accepted his fate. I took him skiing for his 30th birthday weekend. We had a blast. It made him forget how depressed he was (until we got back home and he was so sore)!

Mine will be 29 this week and he DOES NOT care about turning 30 next year.

FI turns 30 April 19 - a few weeks before the wedding...if it's anything like when he turned 29, I'll be in hiding. He started freaking out that he's 'old, going bald, fat, and unattractive.' I said 'I agree with all, and you're undate-able, lucky me!'

DH is going to be 30 in June and he seems fine with it. He hasn't freaked out at all.

Yes Kathleen....for a year b4 he made me swear I would not throw him a party. He kept threatening me & his mom that if we threw him one, he'd walk out....

He's fine w/ his age, just didn't want the party/attention.

He told me he didn't even think about it - I met him when he was 39, he had no problem turning 40!

He's 42 now!

He is turning 30 two weeks before our wedding and he is upset he cant have a big party. I am planning on celebrating and having our cake during our RD in the city.

he turns 30 at the end of May, and he is having trouble with it. He barely looks 21 though, such a baby face.

I turned 30 this past October. Was not upset, since I have so much to look forward to in my 30s

It is just a number and does not change anything.

Well I wasn't around when he turned 30, but I was around when he turned 41 this past year. I feel bad that I'm so much younger than him bc it makes him feel bad that he's not 25 anymore. It's not his age so much as the fact that he's got a gut that he didn't use to have and now he has a shaved head where he used to have long locks.

I hear it every year when he sighs and says 'I'm older than the Superbowl'! Talk about 'woe is me'!

But he should feel good that he's 'middle aged' and he still snagged a twenty-something hottie!!

When I met him he was already 30, but I hit 30 while we were together and it was not easy!!

He seems to have taken 31, 32 & 33 in stride as far as I've seen!!!
