Did anyone's halls make the tip BEFORE the actual wedding?

Did anyone's halls make the tip BEFORE the actual wedding?

Ours wants us to pay the tip for the captains, maitr'd, and bridal attendent before the actual wedding..... this seems odd to me... what if I dont like the service?

don't do it. then they have nothing to 'work' for and you may get c rappy service.

is it in your contract that you have to do it ahead of time? if not, tell them no way

thats weird. . . my dad did it i believe right be4 the reception started . . . maybe?? he definitely did it THE DAY of the wedding, some point during the night. . . if that helps!!

That is strange. You are paying them yourself out of pocket on that day? I was told that their tips were included in my total fee & that the RH was going to distribute the tips themselves.

i agree, if it's not in your contract, don't do it!!

now, i'm going to give my two cents on tipping. i hate that people thing that just because you're getting marred, you're made of money!!!

this really pi$$es me off!!!!

WOW they really have alot of NERVE! WHO would ever ask for that????? DO NOT do it under any circumstances!

no way and they shouldn't because a true tip is based on service which you wouldn't know in advance. That is crazy!! Don't do it, they can't force that either.
