Did anyones photographers....

Tell you that they don't allow for your DJ to take zap shots?? I'm just wondering if most photog's have this rule??

No photog that I have met has said that to me...The guy for zap shot said he would stay out of our photog's way the entire night,...

yea I really can't figure out what their reasoning for it is...all I can think of is maybe it would get in the way or alter the professional pics?? not sure...guess I'll have to ask him next time I speak to him

same here... our DJ is bringing a photog and hes taking pix at CH and at the recpt and they are putting them on the screens,,,

i just started my hunt for a photographer and i have yet to hear this.

why would they do that?
thats like telling guest no cameras

Yeah, I really don't know, like I said whenever I speak to him next I'm going to get the exact reasoning for it....keep you updated

Although, when I booked my DJ they asked us if our photog allowed for zap shots, so I guess it's not unheard of. When I asked the DJ what he thought he said that some photog's are afraid that their cameras interfer with the professional pics....i guess it's different then a simple disposable camera..who knows

if you booked with him on your first meeting you get a free ipod with all your wedding pics.

yep our dj said the same thing.. they said that their zapsshots photographer is a professional too.. they know to stay out of our photographers shots and in their way..

most photogs dont like the zap shots because you are stepping on their toes for shots.
you can usually get away with it. my photog and DJ work toegther all the time and like eachother alot so they have no problems. they are even letting our dj take pics during our ceremony
