so i finally had time to make an appointment to look at some places. since i am not 100% set on my date yet my sister said what about May 22, 2010, cause she knows i like even numbers. so i started to think about it. then i got to work this morning & my co-worker who is planning said she realized last night that aunt flo will be visiting the week of her wedding. well turns out that May 22 is no good. just wanted to remind everyone to double check.
as much as i wouldn't want to, you can always screw around with that date if you're on BC
I have been on BC since I was 16 and I skip my aunt flo whenever I am on vacation or just cannot be bothered
I'm not on BC, so I just have to keep my fingers crossed!!!

Really I've done nothing yet, but I did check to see if aunt flo'd be making a guest appearance on the two dates I'm thinking about! If I counted right I should be in the clear for either date. One of my friends got hers on the day of her wedding and that was always in the back of my mind.

This would never work for me, before I was on BC I was so irregular, sometimes it wouldn't come for months and then it might show up twice in once month, it was a very nerve racking experience. I wish I had it like some girls every 28 days on the hour

im on yaz, for about a year and a half now and i rarelly get my period. doctor just told me to come off of it so that i will get it twice a year. i stopped it in february and it took a month of no pill to get it again. then the next month went like a normall pill and now im back to nothing again. i love not getting it but it makes me nervous sometimes. sorry if its too much info ladies.
I just stopped my bc so I can change the date..b/c I was going to have it for the wedding!
there was a website that someone put up before, i think it may have been Teri that calculates your period for u. I checked it and i seem to be in the clear for that week!

I'm on BC, so I know I'll be OK for the wedding.
i'm on ortho evra (the patch) & i love it because i can see it on my body & i know its doing what it has to do. i was going to stop using BC because it was too expensive (i was paying $140 per month) & since i have no health insurance i have to call my doctors office and beg them for the prescription twice a year. but then i found that i can order it from canda and only pay $40 per month & they always give me exrta refills (which i was jumping up & down). i am just a little concerned because i want to TTC right after the wedding and i know being on BC too long can slow the process. anyone know anything about this?? i asked my sister-in-law who has 3 kids & she told me that she got pregnant while on BC, so i don't really trust her thoughts on these things.

This is my 7th month on yaz. I was originally on ortho tri cyclen, which I loved, but because of insurance they switched it to generic and I did not love. I tried loestrin for 6 months and hated it! So far yaz is ok. I was just complaining to dr that my periods were lighter, but definitely longer. Then this month rolls along and it's back to normal. I have read that many girls skip their periods all together on yaz, but it's just not the case for me. Good luck on it.
