yes, I did. When I went to talk to the banquet manager and sat down to talk about prices, she gave us a tasting. I can't believe your place doesn't? So weird!

I had one prior to our booking the hall. The taste testing was the thing that sealed the deal for us!

yes for the dinner, but they don't do a cake testing. which bugs me - but i guess it's harder to make a cake just to test.

Yes we had a tasting at the Manor East, that is what sealed it for us as well

we tried the food at several showcases tehre....and i think we can get a tasting....but i'm not sure.....

One place that I am considering is giving us a tasting. The other place only does the tasting at certain times...

I also had a tasting before I booked at Chateau La Mer. The food is such a big part of the reception, you should know what it tastes like. You are spending a lot of money. I would keep asking because you a re entittled to one. Good Luck!!

We also had a tasting before we booked,I asked to have one. I think it's a little wired that they won't let you have a tasting, you should ask why

i went to the expo which had food..... when we asked....they told us we could come in some weekened and they would sit us in the office, and pull food from a reception going on...

my hall had a bridal show, so you could taste the cocktail hour, and their cakes.

Yes! They claimed that they normally don't 'do' tastings, but I wouldn't book a place with out it either!
