Did I ever mention how much i LOVE my job?
I've needed to vent all day....here it comes!!!!!!
I was looking for a job in early 2009, my sister's husband's Aunt was looking to hire someone at her job & wound up hiring me. It worked out great for both of us & I even made more $$$. She is the office manager at the drs office.....
Fast forward to now....
I hate working with women and wherever I go I am somehow hated for being so good at what I do, or who I am, or any other reason good or bad that you can think of. The girl I sit next to everyday thinks she is god's gift. She is the biggest attention seeker I have ever met in my life. If someone says they like something of mine she'll either say 'I have it' or 'what about me'. No joke. She thinks she's hot S*** bc she owns a pair of Ed Hardy shoes, but her favorite store to shop in is Joyce Leslie...catch my drift? So shes with her man for 8 years with a 4 yr old kid, complains to her man everyday that she wants to get married and he blows her off. (she tells us this stuff). Finally In Feb 2012 he pops the question. Now we are 8 months from when she got engaged and she is not allowed to talk about planning a wedding to him, he gets mad. So here comes ME and I get engaged in May of 2010. The minute we get engaged is the minute we start planning. Now she really hates me! I talked about weddings a few times to my other coworkers and she says 'can we talk about something else other than weddings' so I stopped talking about it. So thats the beginning of this hell job....
For starters there are no rules at this job. Feel free to go on the internet all day long, talk on your cellphone whenever you'd like at your desk and if you want to show up 20 minutes late everyday no big deal. OK so for whatever reason office manager is scared of this girl that sits next to me, does whatever she says, and kisses her A**. I dont know if its bc she talks ghetto and is from B-wood, who knows!! so now office manager dislikes me (just remember she is somewhat family) bc the girl that sits next to me hates me!
Whatever....I dont need new friends so I try not to let it bother me. I go to work, do my job, and go home!
Today my office manager says to me ' a little less internet today, i dont want the dr to see you on the computer' and i said ok no prob and apologized! I go in the kitchen and she fellows me in and says she wasnt trying to be mean but doesnt want me getting in trouble. I said you are the boss, you dont have to explain yourself to me. Its fine I wont go on the internet.
I get to my desk & pull up our interoffice email account and I see an email conversation between office manager and girl next to me and its ABOUT ME!!!!!!!! I dont know how I got it on my computer. ( this interoffice email thing is like 2 days old)
Office Manager: Hey
Girl: did you say anything to her in the kitchen?
OM: and i quote 'yes, she said whatever you're the boss. Yes she hates us...or me definately!!! Oh well...do you care? I feel a little bad...just a little'
I didnt want to say anything bc I wanted them to write each other again and hopefully it be something REALLY good. So instead I printed it on our printer and left it there for them to find and I left when the day was over. I hope they felt bad that maybe I saw it, or how did it get in the printer!
