Did I Make A Mistake?

Did I Make A Mistake?

People are so ridiculous, aren't they? I would call her explain that you didn't mean to offend and that you did your best and were working off a list that was supplied to you. Tell her that you will address the placecard with his name. I wouldn't send a new invite though. She's being difficult and she needs to get over herself. That's just my opinion (I dislike appeasing people who think they can make demands and strong arm people into things), do what is most comfortable for you, I know lots of people put pressure on us in family situations, so I hate to see you stress out either. Good luck, bride-to-bride, I don't think you did anything so horrible. She sounds pretty insecure and selfish to make such a big deal over it.

Any suggestions?

I don't think you made a mistake. My fiance and I have been living together for almost 2 years and we have received several invitations with 'and guest.' It sounds like she has a lot of nerve throwing a fit and asking for an apology plus a new invitation. If you forgot a husband's name, that is a different story but she isn't married. Anyhow, since it is your fiance's cousin, I would let him handle it.

It sounds like someone is a little bitter that they aren't the one getting married.
Don't let her stress you.
