Are photographer contracts supposed to include number of pictures at minimum they will take? Mine did not include this and I signed anyway, but now I just thought of it. He told me how many he guaranteed but did all of you get that in your contract?

we put the total hours and the total number of pictures on the contract just to be safe, can you call hi up and go there and add it?

no, mine specifically told me he wouldn't put it in my contract, only that the avg was a certain number. I guess they don't want to be held liable if they're under by a small amount. I haven't even counted my proofs, but I know it's above what they told me.
Edited to add: just be sure it's clearly indicated that they'll be there for your entire reception, and anything else you want (church, cocktail hr, etc)

My contract has the # of minimum proofs, but that's the way my photographer works! If they verbally told you they take a minimum of 400-500 proofs, I wouldn't worry about it. That seemed to be the average # for most

I would call him now. My sisters contract did not say specific things that he told her she was going to get (like proofs). After the wedding, he told her if she wanted them she would have to buy them.

Mine includes the minimum # - which is fairly low, so I'm glad it included at least that!! But we're paying a little less for our photographer, so that's probably why!! We have a lot of time for photos, so maybe our proof count will be higher than what's included on the contract.
If I were you, I would call and discuss this with them......better to be safe than sorry!
