I was so tired the other night and was trying to delete some stuff from my registry I didn't want. A few random items here and there.
But today when I logged on I see quite a few items have been 'completed' (aka bought) .... however I cannot remember if they were ones I tried to delete or maybe someone actually bought them.
Is there a way to find out? It's Bloomingdales.

Re: Did I screw up my registry?!
Ohhh be REALLY careful with the Bloomingdales registry. I was doing something like this (I originally registered for 12 sets of China) than all of sudden next time I looked it was all completed! It just so happened that right around the same time FMIL told me that passed weekend her and my Aunt went to Bloomies and got these great deals b/c they had this private sale ect ect....here I was all excited like holy cr*p I got all my China!!! Meanwhile I didn't get any of it and everyone else who saw my registry thought it was completed. Ok sorry long story short, it wasn't until after the shower, I questioned it I was like hmm thats weird but maybe that person is planning to give it to me as a wedding gift. Fast forward after the wedding, never received a piece of China, called Bloomies they said that I completed it!!!!!!!!!! I was FUMING!!!!!! I never got one peice of China since the whole time it looked 'competed' everyone thought I get everything. All b/c of Bloomingdale's stupid registry website is the worst.
Call them up and make them change it over the phone, make sure it gets reversed.

Okay, never mind. The above poster is registered at Bloomie's and I'm not so her opinion is probably more valid...

Re: Did I screw up my registry?!
Sorry for butting in, but I am registered at Macy's, and I think all federated stores have an option to 'manage thank you's' It can take away some of the surprise, but it may be able to help you know if things have been bought or deleted

i think if you delete them, they just disappear...complete usually means it has been bought

Re: Did I screw up my registry?!
i had this same problem with macys. i would go to update something and it would say completed!
i just deleted the item completely and re-registered for it online. problem solved. i figure if someone really did log on and buy it for me in those few minutes, i can just return any duplicate and get store credit to buy something else
good luck!

Re: Did I screw up my registry?!
I didn't know Macy's had this option, to manage thank yous! Mine shows that my silverware has been bought, and the only person that could have bought it is my mom or sister. However, when i look at the 'manage thank you' page, it says 'name not provided.' How do I know if I just mistyped something and made it look completed or if it actaully was bought? Can I call Macys and see if it was ACTUALLY bought?
