Did my last round of photographers this weekend and....
I went to 3 photographers this weekend:
Duet
Velvet
Gray
In total I have seen:

AHHHH!!!!
As you can seen I have seen alot of photographers, more than RH's...but I think photography is very important and I wanted a really good package. I wanted to share some of my thoughts on each as it might help others who havent booked there photo yet. My journey began on January 31, 2008
Bella - I met with Pearson and they have a system where they hire freelancers and you do not get to meet your photgrapher until a month before the wedding. There costs were about $3000 for a decent package.
I then met with Funico which is a husband and wife team. They were nice. They didnt have a studio so I met them in their apartment in the city. There package was about $4000.
Next was Great Neck which is the vendor for Beckwith. I really wasnt in love with their style. I really want photojournalism and wasnt thrilled. Their package was $3000.
Fantasy Flash was ok. I got a good price for dj, photo and video $5700. I just wasnt impressed by the photo.
At this point Bella was my top choice. Then came Duet....
OMG...I was soo impressed ny their studio and pictures. I met with Eric and he was sooo nice and he explained their process and what they offer. Me and my friend really loved them. They even offered her a friend discount if she got married and used them. My package was $4600 with an engagement shoot and video and he said he might even do the video for the entire day for only $100 more.
Velvet was really nice. I met with Bob (owner) and his price was $4500 with an engagement shoot and he would be doing the photography. He is probably the second on my list.
Lastly was Gray. They are wayyyy overpriced for what they are offering. For photo alone it was $4000. Video is an extra $2000.
I think I might be a DUET girl. If anyone wants any additional information on any of the photographers FM me and I will provide any details you want.
