match the flowers in the ceremony and reception? I have so many favorite flowers, it's hard for me to choose.

no - it would have cost a fortune b/c my bouquet was orchids. (my girls and dh also had orchids.) the church had white calla lillies on the pews and a standard white flower alter setup. my centerpieces were basic white roses.

We're sort of matching. While my bouquet will be peonies, the BM and centerpieces will be similar to this bouquet:
mine won't bok roses centerpieces tulips, spidermums

Mine did, but it wasn't necessarily on purpose. I think mixing it up is a nice idea.

Yes and no. My bouquets are roses and calla lilies and stephanotis and a bunch of other flowers. My CPs will be roses and hydrangeas to add fullness. The colors are all similar though.

I read in some wedding book that they don't have to match. That your centerpieces should coordinate with the room and your bo-ks should coordinate with your girls.
Mine will match but that is just coincidence.

nope...didn't match. my ceremony flowers were provided by the hall...i didn't even know (or care) what the flowers were.
the flowers for us were all calla lillies and roses,

I had orchids in my bouquet but did less expensive orchids mixed with other flowers other places at the wedding.
